Interview with Zhongmei Excellent students Fu Yan,Fu Xinyi and Shen Xinyu
On September 29, 2012, Zhongmei Studio outstanding students in 2012 Fu Yan (CAFA 29th) Fu Xinyi (CAFA 13th), Shen Xinyu (International Foundation Class) holding flowers came back to Zhongmei Studio to see their beloved Teacher Hu Changge. With gratitude to teachers,they talked about the memorable learning experiences in studio, and share the experience in CAFA .And last they took a photo with Teacher Hu Changge. The class monitor Wu Yu had interviews with them. Here is the interview.

Zhongmei Studio: Hello,could you please talk about your learning experience in Zhongmei Studio
Fu Yan: I came in studio on August last year, having no art foundation. Students in studio are very good at drawing. Mr Hu is a particularly rigorous, serious, responsible teacher. He said to me: don't worry about it. I was fresh in Zhongmei Studio with a lot of pressure.Mr. Hu teacher was serious and very comprehensive. I made progress for the first month and past the entrance exams well. After a period of time, Mr Hu gave us a lot pressure , he paid much attention on us, we not only study art ,but also life. I'm very lucky to go to CAFA.
Fu Xinyi: My brother and I both studied in Zhongmei Studio. The feeling is warm, we are like a family. I Learned a lot here, I learned step by stepMr Hu said you we will be able to draw well. Every teacher care us specially , giving us a feeling of home. I’m impressed by Teacher Fu Aichen, Wu Xue, JiYuJie,Pan Liguo. All aspects are comfortable. Students could also learn from each other, I learned a lot from my classmates.
Shen Xinyu: I came here on summer vacation in July. Mr Hu is particularly impressive. He always says: Be rigorous, pay attention to the relationship between black, white and grey. Mr Hu said must listen to teacher's words and study hard,then you’ll and enter a good university.
Zhongmei Studio:What characters do you think a student should have to be successful?
Fu Yan: First of all, I think a person must have a goal. He wanted to learn, he can go far on this road. Second, I think the teachers’ help is particularly important. Because a good teacher can teach you experience. You will make progress quickly.Good state of mind is also important, so that you can support yourself forward. KaoXue this paragraph of time, sometimes I feel very tired and very decadent. This requires a good mentality to encourage himself. I think these are very important.
Fu Xinyi: Think more, draw more. You become what they can do. CAFA teachers gave us lecture, I benefited a lot. I take every word what teachers say into my heart.And bear spirit. These experiences are especially valuable. Will can be quite happy to think of it now. I can also feel the happiness in the drawing.
Shen Xinyu: The key is to planning your own life.Because the main schedules are settled, the holiday time is enough,so when having a class, we need to study hard. More clearly goal will make it easy to complete the schedule.
Fu Yan: Mr Hu Changge. He taught us the sketch, color, he is very rich experience. He will teach you how to draw step by step. Mr Hu also paid much attention to life.I’m also very impressed by Mr. Meng, he taught us sketch.He is quite a young teacher. He is very humorous.
Fu Xinyi: I want to say what my brother said. Every teacher gave us a lot of help, so that I can have harvest in every aspect. I learned a lot from teachers, the teacher would repeat as long as I can do it well.
Shen Xinyu: Teachers are very patient, if you don't, he would repeat, until you could do it well. Mr Meng, Mr Wu Xue , and Mr Fu Aichen are particularly experienced well.
Fu Yan: Mr. Hu paid special attention to me.As long as I made a little mistake, he will direct me in time and remind me of the mistakes. This was also a kind of encouragement and motivation. Mr Hu also paid special attention to me in my life.He came by to see me.Zhongmei Studio always organize activities on Christmas, New Year's day. We had enough space to show our own personalities.
Fu Xinyi: My brother has told every aspect that I want to say. What impressed me most is that every teacher is very professional. I am very grateful to every teacher. Thanks a lot!
Shen Xinyu: Mr Hu really paid close attention to every student, I really appreciate for that!
Shen Xinyu: I'm ready to take an examination of University of the Arts London next year. Learning environment is pretty good, all of them are foreign teachers, my classmates are talented.I take Ielts class and professional class every day. I am ready to go London next year.
Zhongmei studio: I know you got 13th place Desian institute of CAFA. What are your plans and arrangements?
Fu Xinyi: I’ll make special efforts to draw. So still have to follow the plan. At the same time, think about what the teacher asked us to draw what, why do you want to draw this. Think it over and then began to paint towards that goal. From each picture a little experience, get some harvest. So you can get a higher and more progress.
The studio: I know you got the 29th place of Disign Institude,CAFA this year. Then what are your plans and arrangement?
Fu Yan: There’re so much work to do. I just wanna do what school tell us to do. The first semester, i’ll pay much attention to basic course. I want a balance of academic and basic course.I’ll put more energy on the basic course. Because of our basic course teachers are genius,we can learn a lot from them.
Zhongmei studio: Excuse me, what do you suggest to the new examinee?
Fu Yan:I know that everyone may feel eahausted now, mental pressure is big. I believe that your effort will get a return in the future. Your future will be bright .I also want to say: it is very important to have a good state of mind. Enjoy the process. I hope you all can be admitted to the ideal university.
Fu Xinyi:Where there is a way,there is a will. This experience will remain fresh in your life.
Shen Xinyu: This year can be faster than you thought. Just bear hardships and tet to enter a good university. Come on!
